Oral s*x is now the leading cause of throat cancer.

Experts increase the alarms of growing bond between oral s*x and the increase in neck cancer cases, especially cancer of oropharyngeal cancer, which now exceeds cervical cancer in the prevalence of the UK and the US.

This alarming trend is largely attributed to human papillomavirus (HPV), a virus that is more often associated with genital warts, but now appears as a significant cause of neck cancer.

Dr. Hisham Mehanna, a leading expert in the University of Birmingham, casts light on this disturbing shift and warns that the rise of Cancer related to HPV is a direct consequence of a change in s*xual behavior in recent decades.

According to experts, oral s*x contributes to a growing “epidemic” of neck cancer, now more common than cervical cancer in the UK and the US. Dr. Hisham Mehanna of the University of Birmingham points to a specific type of cancer – oropharyngeal cancer – which is associated with human papillomavirus (HPV).

Mehanna noted: “In the last twenty years, the neck cancer has appeared in the west,” HPV was identified as a primary cause.

HPV, a family of more than 100 viruses, often causes no problems, but in some cases it can lead to genital warts or cancer, as the NHS noted. Mehanna also explains that “the main risk factor is the number of partners of the oral s*x that the person had.” Those who had six or more lifelong oral s*xual partners are 8.5 times more likely to develop oropharyngeal cancer.

While the immune systems of most people naturally exclude HPV infections, a small number of individuals with deficiencies of the immune system may not. “In these cases, the virus continues to be replicated, integrates into a person’s bottom and may lead to cancer,” Mehanna wrote.

In conclusion, the increase in oropharyngeal cancer cancer, driven by HPV from oral s*x, emphasizes the alarming shift in the trends of cancer in the UK and the US. Experts as well as Dr. Hisham Mehanna, emphasizes the importance of understanding the connection between HPV and neck cancer, especially in individuals with more oral s*xual partners. While most people naturally clean up HPV infections, people with weakened immune system can face a higher risk. This growing health problem emphasizes the need for consciousness, prevention and other research to deal with the growing prevalence of this type of cancer and its connection with oral s*xual behavior.
