All of the No S mint mark varieties are proof coins only and the 1982 No P is the lone exception because it is a business strike and can be found in change. These are coins where the mint mark was not punched into the die so never had a mint mark. The 1922 No D Lincoln Cent is a no mint mark variety but the mint mark was on the die but accidentally removed by a mint employee.
In 1980 the Philadelphia Mint begin adding a P mint mark to all denominations besides cents (Only 2017-P Lincoln Cents have the P mint mark), so any coin before 1980 without a mint is normal and struck at the Philadelphia Mint, unless the coin is a proof without an S.
