The 1975 No S Roosevelt Dime is extremely rare and valuable — it’s one of the most famous modern proof coin errors.

In 1975, proof dimes were struck at the San Francisco Mint and should have the “S” mintmark.
A few proof dimes were mistakenly struck without the “S” mintmark.

These are called “1975 No S Proof Dimes.”

Only 2 confirmed examples are known.
They were accidentally released in 1975-S proof sets.

One sold for $349,600 in 2011.
Another has been valued at over $500,000 in recent years.
