Far from her usual greeting of screaming fans when she appears in public, the superstar and Anti-Hero singer’s face was projected onto the big screens at the game only to be met with loud boos from the crowd.
Startled Taylor could not ignore the jeers from the crowd, attempting to laugh off the incident as the cameras continued to focus on her. She was clearly unused to the reaction as she attended the event to support partner Travis Kelce as his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, took on the Philadelphia Eagles
The star’s night took a turn for the worse as she was pictured on the big screens alongside other famous attendees at the event, including Sir Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Paul Rudd, and Bradley Cooper.

The disgruntled singer, who was pictured sitting with Ice Spice, Ashley Avignone, reportedly said, “Aww what. What’s going on?,” according to one lip reading expert in the Mail. Many are now calling the dramatic evening the night Taylor and Travis’ bubble burst.
Fans drew comparisons to the loved-up scenes in 2024 when Taylor took a break from her Eras Tour to jet to watch Travis’ team take the trophy. The duo were spotted kissing on the pitch after the game as his team celebrated their win.
But on Sunday all eyes were on the couple for the wrong reasons as Travis’ side got thrashed 40-22 and the crowd seemed to take against his superstar partner. This year’s half-time show featured a performance by rapper Kendrick Lamar who performed a censored version of his Drake diss track for the crowd and a TV audience of over 200 million.
The 37-year-old rap star teased the controversial song, Not Like Us, throughout his 13-minute set in New Orleans, before finally playing the controversial track. The song is currently the subject of a defamation lawsuit filed by Drake against his rap rival for lyrics that accuse him of being a sexual predator, which he denies.
“I want to play their favourite song … but you know they love to sue,” Kendrick teased fans in the opening minutes of his set. The Grammy-winning star opted to save Not Like Us until the end of his set and chose to censor the most controversial lyrics.
Lawyers for Drake are currently suing Universal Music Group, Kendrick’s record label, over the track, observing that the song includes “false factual allegations” about Drake. The halftime show also included performances of Kendrick’s tracks Humble, DNA, Squabble Up, Man At The Garden and Euphoria, another Drake diss track.
