A newly released surveillance video has heightened attention in the investigation of the fatal shooting of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. Minutes before the attack, a man dressed in black and walking with a noticeable limp was seen near the campus, prompting authorities to identify him as a person of interest. Federal investigators confirmed that the individual entered university grounds shortly before the shooting.

Additional footage shows him in the same area earlier that morning wearing identical clothing. The FBI has released photos and is urging the public to submit any information, videos, or images. A $100,000 reward is being offered for tips leading to his identification and capture.

The shooting occurred during a live discussion, when a single shot caused widespread panic among attendees. Witnesses described chaos, with some fleeing and others rushing to assist those nearby. Despite security presence near the stage, authorities are reviewing how the suspect was able to bypass campus safety measures.

Agents have recovered physical evidence, including the suspected weapon and forensic impressions from the surrounding area. Officials emphasized that even small pieces of information could prove crucial in locating the suspect. The search remains active, with law enforcement vowing to dedicate all available resources to bring justice for Kirk’s family and ensure the safety of the campus community. Authorities continue to appeal to the public for vigilance, urging anyone with knowledge of the suspect’s movements to come forward and assist the investigation.
